How we started
Signal Grid Base began when Helena Marsh, a Solana programme author, kept receiving the same questions from Leeds and Birmingham fintech teams: which RPC provider to trust, how to decode account data, and where to start with Anchor. Rather than repeat the same video calls, she compiled checklists and reading paths into a shared library and invited two colleagues to co-deliver workshops.
By 2023 the library held over forty internal articles. Clients asked for structured cohorts, so the six-week Developer Onboarding Programme launched. Today we serve teams across England and Wales, still operating from Bromsgrove with remote delivery as the default.
Our approach
We teach from production incidents and devnet exercises, not slide decks copied from official docs. Every cohort member receives homework that mirrors their actual repository where possible. RPC content always includes a written failover plan—because confirmation delays at 3 a.m. do not wait for office hours.
We cap group sizes so mentors can review transactions on screen. That constraint means fewer clients per quarter, but it keeps the library grounded in problems teams genuinely face.
